There are many restaurants and
convenience stores in Ewha campus for students and visitors to enjoy which
provide everything from dishes to snacks. For instance, there is Main Dish,
Dr. Robbin, GS25 and some cafeterias inside buildings. Although
there are many places to eat on campus, every year freshmen have trouble
finding them. Eventually they end up with expensive but poor restaurants off
campus simply because they don’t realize where on-campus facilities are. Therefore,
we would like to give them this information.
For Simple and Fast Foods

Ewha University's Cafeterias
In Ewha there are also places
that offer good foods at cheap prices. The most popular cafeteria is located in
the Human Ecology Building, Morris Hall, which is spacious so it
accommodates more than 500 students. It serves a variety of meals and waffles
for lunch and dinner at 11:30 am to 5 pm. Furthermore, Asan Engineering Building
has a student cafeteria which is located on the upper part of the Science Hall
so it is far from the main gate. It takes 20 mins from the gate, offering Korean
traditional meals for lunch. Service time during the term is 9 am to 6:30 pm
but on vacation it is 9 am to 4 pm. Lastly, there is a cafeteria in Helen Hall
which is located across from Centennial Library. Especially, Tonkatsu and Spaghetti with tomato sauce are the most popular meals.
All campus cafeterias serve
their meals from 1,000 won to 3,500 won except for Sodam in Morris Hall, so
students feel the price is appropriate without pressure.
For Formal Foods
There are some formal
restaurants in Ewha, which are good for inviting friends or family. The
restaurant pictured on the left is called the Main Dish, and is located in
the food court on the B4 floor of the ECC. It has various menus which are in
other places like Shinsegae and Lotte. The price of foods is a little bit
expensive but it provides high-class tastes.
The restaurant pictured in the middle is Dr. Robbin,
which is located on B4 of the ECC near the Art House. As its slogan is
"slim and healthy", it sells foods which are good for health like
pumpkin soup, homemade waffles, and muffins. Though the price of foods is also
a little bit high, it is a suitable place for those thinking about health.
The restaurant pictured on
the right is "Areamddle" located near the central library. It sells a
great deal of foods as well as fruits, snacks, drinks, and bread. The price
range is from 1500 to 6000 won. It offers breakfast sets including items like
like coffee, toast, salad, and soup from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Also it has a delivery
service when we order two or more meals, so students who are busy and don't go
there could access that service.
To be more helpful, we checked various restaurants and student cafeterias. We introduced some places on campus for those who have little information about Ewha’s dining places. This article will help you to decide where to visit in different situations and save the time to ruminate about menu. Also, many acquaintances usually visit Ewha to watch plays or movies and to meet us. How about showing your friends or parents Main Dish or Dr. Robbin? They will be satisfied with the dishes and think you are a sensible person. Try to visit the restaurants and find out what your favorite dishes are because eating is one of the greatest pleasures in life.
